Armenian armed units violated ceasefire 60 times

Baku (UNA-OIC) – “Military units of Armenia’s armed forces violated ceasefire 60 times throughout the day in various directions of the front, using large-caliber machine guns and sniper rifles,” Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Defense said in a statement carried on Azertag on Sunday.

“Armenian armed forces, located in Chinari village of Berd region and on nameless hills in Chambarak region, opened fire at positions of the Azerbaijan Army located in Kokhanebi village of Tovuz region, in Zamanli village and on nameless hills in Gadabay region,” the ministry said.

“Positions of the Azerbaijani Army were also fired at from positions of Armenian military units located near the occupied Chilaburt village of Tartar region, Namirli, Sarijali, Novruzlu, Yusifjanli, Marzili villages of Aghdam region, Kuropatkino village of Khojavend region, Ashaghi Veysalli, Garvand, Garakhanbayli, Horadiz villages of Fuzuli region, Nuzgar and Mehdili villages of Jabrayil region, as well as from the positions located on nameless hills in Goranboy, Tartar, Aghdam, Khojavend, and Fuzuli regions,” the ministry added.
