Baku (UNA-OIC) – The Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan, Head of Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration, Hikmat Hajiyev, said on Monday that the Armenian targeted the densely populated region of Ganja with the aim of killing the largest number of defenseless peaceful people.
Hajiyev added in a press conference that Azerbaijan complied with the humanitarian ceasefire reached in Moscow, while Armenia violated the ceasefire and committed barbaric terrorism against unarmed civilians.
“This is an act of genocide against Azerbaijanis, which was committed by Armenian political leaders. There is a document on a ceasefire for humanitarian purposes. The next day, the Armenian armed forces launched a rocket attack on the densely populated region of Ganja. This is a war crime. And this once again demonstrates the hypocrisy of the Armenian side,” he said.
