Dirk W. Bruin

Dirk W. Bruin was born and raised in the Netherlands. He sailed the seven seas as navigation officer on board of Dutch Merchant and Royal Navy vessels. He emigrated to Canada, and served as Systems Development Manager of a large transportation company. He retired in 1992 and settled in Nova Scotia to pursue interest in the History of Religion and Culture. Nowadays, he travels a lot and if not in Canada can be found in Europe collecting material for his writings. He contributed this article to Media Monitors Network (MMN) from Canada.
