Baku (UNA-OIC) – Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Defense said the Armenian armed forces violated the new humanitarian ceasefire agreement after it took effect at 8:00 am local time (0400 GMT) on Monday.

“Armenian armed forces continue to violate the new humanitarian ceasefire regime,” the ministry told Azerbaijan State News Agency, AZERTAC.

“At present, the territories of Tovuz and Dashkasan districts of Azerbaijan are being fired by the enemy from the territories of Berd and Vardenis districts of Armenia.

“At the same time, Azerbaijani residential settlements, as well as the positions of the units of the Azerbaijan Army in the Fuzuli and Aghdam direction are also under the enemy fire,” the ministry added.
