Madame Speaker, Mr. President, ladies and gentlemen of this once honorable chamber, the State of the Union is collapsing under a war and economic stresses.
I am here before you in my last year in office to confess my sins and transgressions against you and all of humanity. I am guilty of greed, ambitions, self aggrandizement, thirst for power and world domination, Christian Zionism, simplicity of mind and intelligence, and a subservience to others far more intelligent in thought and purpose, far more calculating and organized, and far more passionate to corporate and foreign interests.
I am the President who’s launched a thousand strifes, a thousand lies, a thousand billions of your money, and a thousand tortured prisoners.
With your permission, indulgence, and forgiveness, I wish to relate how a simple man from Texas became a failed President.
I grew up in a family of wealth and political influence. My youth was spent in chasing alcohol and female companionship. I was the rebel without a cause in my family bringing shame to my parents, especially my father. I had no purpose in life so my father pulled strings to get me out of the military draft and get me into his alma mater, Yale, although I neither had the grades, desire, or aptitude to enter college. But I did enter Yale, was a C student, joined Skulls and Bones, and thanks to political power I graduated. I then entered business school and subsequently failed at all business endeavors. I shamed my father whom I’ve spent my entire life trying to impress, something that later pushed me to finish his destruction of Iraq and avenge Saddam’s attempted assassination of him; the man whom I later hanged for dad. Little did I know that my legacy hanged along with him.
Having failed in business, I tried politics. Inexplicably I was elected Governor of Texas. Dad made sure I had enough handlers and advisors to run for the Presidency.
They sold me as America’s savior after Clinton’s immorality. Money was raised from my “pioneers”, a successful campaign was devised, I was heavily coached for the debates and with their media’s megaphone and the Supreme Court I won the election. Thank you Clarence Thomas.
My fellow Americans our nation is easily manipulated and follows the image, never the substance.
Then came 9/11–an event that shaped my tenure and allowed my handlers to overtake the Presidency as their instrument of all out war against Arab and Muslim nations. .
This cabal, this faction, these unpatriotic Americans with some having dual American and Israeli citizenships with dual loyalties has long pursued the demolition of Iraq. These corporate, military, and Pro Israel war fanatics pushed me and this nation into a policy of gun diplomacy, an illegal attack and occupation of Iraq with devastating consequences that will engulf this nation for decades. It has led to the innocent deaths of 4,000 of our military youth, over one million Iraqis, and financially bankrupting this nation.
I take responsibility for this war and for annihilating Iraq into the dark ages as well as inflaming the world with wars and instability, This President under delusions of grandeur with a divinely guided mandate to save the world from tyranny and spread freedom and democracy, by force if necessary, to our dictatorial friends in the Middle East fulfilled this cabal’s wildest dream. In doing this I dishonored our Constitution, Bill of Rights, and committed treason.
Under Cheney’s spell, the darkest hate filled soul in our nation, these Neocons who were strategically placed officials in our national security system, who had the support of their allies in Pro Israel lobbies like AIPAC, the very organization caught spying on us for Israel, think tanks, fanatical right wing philanthropists, a media controlled by their friends and tribesmen, launched the most concerted campaign to indoctrinate this nation into a hysterical war frenzy, all to fight Israel’s enemies and protect their wealth in the military industrial oil complex. Their purpose: Regime change Israel’s enemies in Iraq, Iran, Syria, Lebanon, the Palestinians, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and you’ll have peace for Israel’s hegemony and the oil companies.
As Ariel Sharon, my man of peace, said: "Arabs may have the oil, but we have the matches”.
Forgive me world, but especially you the Palestinians, for calling this murderer a “man of peace”. His own leaders and people have called him a “liar, butcher, bulldozer, and murderer”, yet; I dared call him in Orwellian fashion a “man of peace”. Our nation has constantly placed the Israel Palestine conflict under the governmental control of Pro Israel Jewish Americans who acted more as Israel’s lawyers than serving American interests.
I came to believe the lies they fed me, the lies I uttered with such cowboy bravado. It was exhilarating to be John Wayne with the cause of bringing Bin Laden and Saddam Hussein “dead or alive” to justice. In my dreams I kept repeating, “Gentlemen, this world ain’t big enough for the two of us”.
Forgive me Lord for my own stupidity and arrogance. How many people have I killed because of an egotistical Neocon inspired fallacy? In following them I’m guilty of ruining America’s reputation and moral credibility in the world. I deserve the world’s hate but America’s standing must never suffer because of an incompetent President.
You’ve heard me repeatedly use the word “Neocons”; but who are they?
They are men and women who share these beliefs: Love for Israel, Love for military might and gun diplomacy, Love of an Imperial America, and of course, Love of money.
They are best described by Ari Shavit, a journalist for the Israel’ paper Ha’aretz. (April 5, 2003)
"In the course of the past year, a new belief has emerged in the town (Washington D.C.): the belief in war against Iraq. That ardent faith was disseminated by a small group of 25 or 30 neoconservatives, almost all of them Jewish, almost all of them intellectuals (a partial list: Richard Perle, Paul Wolfowitz, Douglas Feith, William Kristol, Eliot Abrams, Charles Krauthammer), people who are mutual friends and cultivate one another."
The Neocons set up their own intelligence office in the Pentagon to negate the national intelligence agencies findings that Iraq had no WMD’s. They instilled fear and pro war sentiments in this nation and they cowed Congress into supporting a war that had no legal or international basis. Any anti-neocon sentiments were deemed Un-American, Un-Patriotic, and Anti-Semitic.I myself am responsible for a third of these lies.
Their campaign against Iraq actually began in 1979 when Paul Wolfowitz , Dennis Ross, and others, wrote a secret paper outlining what turned out to be most “prophetic”–Iraq’s potential invasion of Kuwait, fully eleven years prior to the invasion. That’s quite a miraculous coincidence. Another miraculous coincidence is that this Neocon tribe wrote a paper that says our military imperialism abroad would be difficult to support short of a “Pearl Harbor catastrophe”. I pray 911 was not the awaited Pearl Harbor.
These same Neocons resurfaced without shame or accountability to repeat the same campaign of lies and smears to attack the more formidable nation of Iran. Hence, my fellow Americans please help me resist them for I’m unable to oppose Cheney given his formidable power within the most powerful communities in our nation; the Christian Evangelists and the Israel Lobby.
To elucidate the power of the Israel Lobby, especially over you, the Congress, you and I gave Israel $30 Billion for military aid despite it being the world’s fourth largest arms exporter, money we diverted from expanding our neediest children’s health insurance program. To pay for this war I cut funds from almost all domestic programs. Our national debt, budget and trade deficit are the largest in history, yet neither I nor members of Congress could afford not to “support our troops”.
I preferred an illegal war in Iraq than helping Katrina victims in New Orleans. Taxpayers in New Orleans, Louisiana paid $313.8 million for the cost of the Iraq War through 2007. For the same amount of money, either of the following could have been provided to New Orleans: 3,770 homes, 79,884 people with health care, and 9,662 public safety officers.
For the war crime of invading Iraq for which I’m ultimately responsible, an offense in a just nation that merits impeachment for me and Dick Cheney, to a longer war crime offense of ruining our national economy and placing our debt in the hands of potential enemies.
I placed our financial order and future economic health in real jeopardy with the cost of the Iraq War and my misguided tax cut to the rich. As a Republican I simply believed that tax breaks for the rich will ultimately trickle down to the poor.
I was wrong, and for that I’m deeply sorry. I trusted Paul Wolfowitz at the World Bank, Alan Greenspan then Ben Bernanke at the Federal Reserve to be proactive on economic issues, but they failed me.
Central banks around the world are dumping the dollar for the Euro and pulling out their American investments. Thank God for my Saudi and Arab Gulf friends who are always willing to save our banks and economy.
I made a huge blunder in my speech where the Neocon David Frum wrote the phrase: “Axis of Evil” meaning Iraq, Iran, and North Korea (I.I.NK). Tonight I confess and profess under no duress that the true Axis of Evil is–”Israel, Israel’s Lobby, and the NeoCons (I.I. NC).
I urge Congress to immediately pass the economic stimulus growth package to uplift our citizens from their mortgage crisis and to ease the credit crisis in our financial institutions.
My fellow Americans, tonight I’ve tried to express to you my heartfelt remorse in confessing my sins of commission and omission in serving this great nation. I pray you forgive me for my limited capacity to understand and oppose the evil of my handlers.
