COVID-19 to not disrupt corruption eradication in Indonesia

Jakarta, (UNA-OIC) – The COVID-19 pandemic will not disrupt the Corruption Eradication Commission’s (KPK’s) fight against corruption in Indonesia despite an outbreak of novel coronavirus in the commission’s workplace.
KPK Chairman Firli Bahuri said that most of the agency’s employees are to work from home for three days starting from Monday, after 23 workers have tested positive for the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
In breaking the deadly coronavirus outbreak chain, the KPK building will be closed from Aug 31 to Sept 2. It will also be sprayed with disinfectant.
