Sudanese Prime Minister Dr. Abdalla Hamdok (SUNA)
Khartoum (UNA-OIC) – Sudanese Prime Minister Dr. Abdalla Hamdok has revealed that decisive decisions with a considerable political, economic and social impact on the path of the transitional period will be issued within days.
In his address to the Sudanese people on Monday evening marking 31 years since the 1989 military coup led by Omar al-Bashir that took him to power, Prime Minister Hamdok warned that some quarters will try to exploit these decisions to fan and create instability, calling on everyone to exercise utmost vigilance and caution.
“A series of decisive decisions will be issued in the coming days, some of which may have a considerable political, economic and social impact,” Hamdok affirmed in his speech, spelling out that “some parties will try to exploit these decisions to fuel and create a state of instability”.
The prime minister of the transitional government expressed optimism that Sudan will overcome the challenges and prevail with the unity of its all people and their adherence to the objectives of the glorious revolution of December 2019.
