Cairo (UNA-OIC) – Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry made a phone call with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov on Tuesday, to discuss means of cementing bilateral ties in different domains.
Both ministers praised the strong relations between Egypt and Russia and their growing mutual coordination and consultation, Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ahmed Hafez said.
They also reviewed the latest regional developments, including those connected with the Palestinian cause, efforts to revive the Middle East peace process and the situation in Libya, Hafez added.
