'Emirati Women … the future is now' conference to kick off next Tuesday

Abu Dhabi (UNA-OIC) – The “Emirati Women’s Conference … The future is now”, organized by the Liwan Foundation for Culture and Arts for the fifth year in a row, will be launched next Tuesday under the slogan “Emirati women are the support of the nation from foundation to achievement” at Conrad Abu Dhabi Hotel, Etihad Towers.

The conference will bring together a number of officials, diplomats and media personalities. This is an affirmation of the Foundation’s commitment to its societal responsibilities and its mission to serve the comprehensive development process in the UAE and to enhance the country’s strategic vision.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa bin Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan, patron of the conference, pointed out that work on this conference was carried out with high participation between state institutions and a number of private and public companies in the country that believe in the role of women and work hard to be a partner in enhancing their position and access to global competitiveness. He appreciated the role of sponsors and supporters in the success of the conference.

The conference highlights how to enhance women’s capabilities in supporting the national identity, presenting a methodology for building the economic identity of female entrepreneurs in the country and achieving competitiveness in light of the techniques of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, the impact of legislation on women’s contributions to sustainable development, the importance of consolidating a culture of giving, volunteering and tolerance, and the role of charitable and humanitarian institutions in this regard.
