IIFA, IACAD sign agreement to strengthen cooperation in various areas

Dubai (UNA-OIC) – The International Islamic Fiqh Academy (IIFA) and the Dubai-based Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities (IACAD) signed a memorandum of cooperation on Monday, November 1, 2021.

The memorandum was signed by IIFA Secretary-General Prof. Koutoub Moustapha Sano and IACAD Director-General Dr. Hamad Al Sheikh Ahmed Al Shaibani, within the framework of strengthening relations of cooperation, partnership and coordination between the Jeddah-based Academy and the official institutions inside and outside the Islamic world.

This agreement aims to enhance cooperation and continuous communication between the two institutions and to strengthen coordination between them in the areas of organizing conferences and symposia, holding workshops and training sessions, in addition to dissemination and application of knowledge to enrich the lives of individuals and societies. It also aims to address ​contemporary jurisprudential issues related to fatwas and charitable work in order to clarify the legitimate position on the problems of contemporary life.
