King Abdullah Project in Makkah resumes distribution of Zamzam water bottles

Makkah (UNA-OIC) – Head of the Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques Sheikh Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais on Tuesday inspected the resumption of bottles of Zamzam water distribution from King Abdullah Project for Zamzam Water in Makkah.

Sheikh Al-Sudais, who is the chairman of the Project’s Supervisory Committee, stressed the importance of implementing the strategic plan to resume receiving visitors and those who want to get the blessed water, through applying the highest standards of health safety and preventive measures issued by the competent authorities to confront the COVID-19 pandemic.

He also emphasized the importance of preparing the project headquarters in a way that takes into account the application of precautionary measures and adherence to the health safety protocols, including the number of visitors allowed to enter the customer care center of the project.

The Supervisory Committee said in a statement, carried by Saudi Press Agency (SPA), that there be selling points designated for people with special needs, pointing out that the maximum number of customers allowed to enter the project’s customer care center at a time during working hours is 60 persons.

Bottles of Zamzam water can be obtained from the project headquarters, as well as from hypermarkets and superstores with whom contracts have been concluded to distribute the blessed water through their outlets across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the statement added.
