Kuwait (UNA) – Kuwait called on Tuesday for a special session for the Arab Charter Committee on Human Rights (ACHR) to protect the Palestinian rights in Jerusalem and the occupied regions, which will take place virtually on Wednesday.
Kuwaiti Assistant Foreign Minister for Human Rights Talal Al-Mutairi said, in a statement to KUNA, that the special session would be held based on the request of Kuwait’s Foreign Minister and State Minister for Cabinet Affairs Sheikh Dr. Ahmed Nasser Al-Sabah.
Al-Mutairi added that they would address the violations of the Israeli occupation forces against Palestinians human rights and disregard of international laws and conventions. He called on international communities and United Nations to carry out their responsibilities for protecting the Palestinian people.
