Kyrgyzstan resumes in-school education

Bishkek, (UNA-OIC) – Kyrgystan has resumed real-time education in 1,489 out of 2,292 public educational institutions.

The Ministry of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic said that on the basis of the decision of the Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19, the Ministry of Education and Science developed and approved, together with the Ministry of Health, an algorithm of actions to comply with sanitary and hygienic, anti-epidemic measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection in the work of educational organizations.

At the same time, in case of worsening epidemiological situation in the locations of educational organizations, the territorial education authorities, together with local government bodies and territorial health authorities, should promptly take measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection, up to the transferring to distance learning (online), the ministry said.
