Kyrgyzstan starts using fourth protocol of COVID-19 treatment into practice

Bishkek, (UNA-OIC) – The Ministry of Health of Kyrgyzstan has developed the fourth version of the clinical protocol for the treatment of COVID-19 coronavirus infection and started using it into practice.

According to the Health Ministry’s chief pulmonologist Talant Sooronbayev, treatment of coronavirus and rehabilitation of patients after recovery remains under control of the ministry.

“Scientific methods of treatment of patients, international recommendations were included,” he said, adding that the protocol “specifies in detail how to treat patients in hospitals, outpatients, how to treat patients who have concomitant diseases, how to treat children, etc. There is also a separate chapter on patient’s rehabilitation.”
