Lebanese Grand Mufti calls Saudi Ambassador Bukhari checking on Saudi Monarch’s health

Beirut (UNA-OIC) – Saudi Embassy in Beirut said in a statement that Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon, Walid Bukhari, received a phone call from Grand Mufti of the Republic, Sheikh Abdel Latif Derian, to check on the health of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz.

The call comes following the announcement of the Royal Court that the Saudi Monarch has been admitted to the King Faisal Specialist Hospital for medical examinations for gall bladder inflammation.

During the phone call, Mufti Derian wished the Saudi Monarch speedy recovery, the statement added.

In turn, Ambassador Bukhari highly appreciated and thanked Mufti Derian for his sincere sentiments, stressing that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King is in good health.
