Libya's crude oil production rises to 800,000 bpd

Tripoli (UNA-OIC) – Head of Libya’s National Oil Corporation (NOC) Mustafa Sanallah announced on Saturday that the country’s crude oil production has risen to 800,000 barrels per day.

The NOC announced on 26 October the lifting of force majeure on El-Feel Oil Field and end the eight-month blockade of oil exports and facilities, which contributed to the rapid rise of production.

The NOC seeks to pump 1.6 million bpd by the end of 2021, depending on the resources allocated by the Ministry of Finance to the company, Sanallah said.
