NAM Ministerial Committee on Palestine calls for end to Israeli aggressions

Baku (UNA-OIC) – The Ministerial Committee of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) on Palestine condemned the Israeli occupation’s continued aggression against the Palestinian people, and called for an immediate end to the occupation’s continued violations of international law.

In a statement following a virtual meeting held on Tuesday by the committee, the Head of the NAM Coordinating Bureau condemned the attacks of the Israeli occupation on the worshipers in Al-Aqsa Mosque and the threat to displace hundreds of Palestinian families from their homes in occupied Jerusalem, as well as the daily incursions and arrest campaigns targeting the Palestinians, including children.

The committee condemned the latest Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, which exacerbated the suffering of its people as a result of the siege imposed by the occupation for more than 15 years.

It called for an immediate end to the Israeli systematic aggression and apartheid policy against the Palestinians, an end to the Israeli continuous violations of international law, and a just solution to the Palestinian cause.

The NAM Ministerial Committee also called for achieving the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people, including their right to self-determination and establishment of the independent and sovereign Palestinian state based on the UN relevant resolutions.
