Jeddah (UNA-OIC) – The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) condemned in the strongest terms the attack perpetrated by unknown armed gunmen on a military base in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire.
OIC Secretary-General Dr. Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen reiterated the principled position of the Organization against terrorism and extremism. He also reaffirmed the OIC’s solidarity with the Ivorian authorities in their efforts to combat terrorism and violent extremism.
