JEDDAH (INA-OIC) – The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) strongly condemns the attacks perpetrated by armed bandits on villages in Zamfara State, Federal Republic of Nigeria, in which dozens of people were reportedly killed.
The General Secretariat expresses its deep condolences to the families of the victims and to the Government and people of Nigeria and wishes the wounded speedy recovery.
The General Secretariat reaffirms the solidarity of the OIC with Nigeria in its efforts to combat terrorism and urges the Nigerian authorities to spare no efforts in bringing those responsible for this barbaric act to justice.
