Jeddah (UNA-OIC) – Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Dr. Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen strongly condemned the terrorist Houthi militia’s launching of a bomb-laden UAV to deliberately target civilians and civil objects in Khamis Mushait city, Saudi Arabia.
The bomb-laden UAV was intercepted and destroyed by the forces of the Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported Wednesday.
In a statement, Al-Othaimeen reiterated OIC’s condemnation of terrorist acts committed by the Houthi militia and those who supply it with funds and weapons. He also noted that these attacks are considered war crimes.
The Secretary-General further reaffirmed OIC’s stand and solidarity with Saudi Arabia in all measures taken to preserve the Kingdom’s security, stability and the safety of its citizens and residents.
