Jeddah (UNA-OIC) – The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) condemned in the strongest terms the terrorist attacks in Mozambique’s northern province of Cabo Delgado, expressing its grave concern over the escalating developments in Palma town.
OIC Secretary-General Dr. Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen voiced his solidarity with Mozambique in its fight against terrorism. He also offered his deepest condolences to the families of the victims of the attacks as well as to the government and people of Mozambique.
The Secretary-General reiterated the principled position of the OIC against all forms of terrorism and extremism.
