Jeddah (UNA-OIC) – The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) strongly condemned the terrorist attacks on a village and a military center in Niger’s western region of Tillaberi, near the border with Mali, which resulted in dozens of civilian and military casualties and missing of several others.
Following these despicable operations, OIC Secretary-General Dr. Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen extended his heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims and to the government and people of the Republic of Niger, wishing a speedy recovery to the injured. He also reiterated the OIC’s support to the efforts of the West African nation to eliminate terrorism.
