Jeddah (UNA-OIC) – Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Dr. Yousef Al-Othaimeen strongly condemned the cowardly terrorist attack and attempt to target the Ras Tanura Port in Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Region using a bomb-laden UAV, and the other deliberate attempt, using a ballistic missile, which its shrapnel fell in the Saudi Aramco’s residential area in Dhahran.
In a statement issued on Sunday, Al-Othaimeen stressed that these terrorist, sabotage and criminal acts against vital installations do not only target the Kingdom, but also target the security and stability of the global energy supplies, as they pose a threat to the lives of thousands of Saudi Aramco employees and their families of various nationalities.
The Secretary-General called on the international community to stand with the Kingdom in taking practical deterrent measures against all terrorist entities that carry out and support these subversive acts.
