Jeddah (UNA-OIC) – Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Dr. Yousef Al-Othaimeen conveyed sincere condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims of the fire accident at the COVID-19 isolation hospital in Iraq’s Dhi Qar Governorate.
Al-Othaimeen also offered his condolences to the government and people of Iraq over this sad incident, praying to Allah Almighty to shower his vast mercy upon the deceased, dwell them in spacious paradise, and grant their families patience and solace. He wished a speedy recovery to the injured.
The Secretary-General affirmed the OIC’s stand and full solidarity with the Republic of Iraq in this difficult circumstance.
