Jeddah (UNA-OIC) – The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) reiterated its unwavering commitment to the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.
In a statement marking the 103rd anniversary of the Balfour Declaration to establish a national home for the Jews in Palestine, which was signed on 2 November 1917, the General Secretariat reaffirmed its firm support for the Palestinian people to obtain their legitimate rights in accordance with the Arab Peace Initiative and relevant UN resolutions, and the establishment of the State of Palestine on the borders of June 4, 1967, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
