Makkah (UNA-OIC) – The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Holy Mosque and the Prophet’s Holy Mosque allocated 3,000 electric carts to serve pilgrims during this year’s Hajj Season.
The Director of Mobility Services Department at the Grand Mosque Fahd bin Sharar Al-Maliki said that the department supervises the carts’ maintenance and sterilization. This is in addition to monitoring their movement in allocated areas.
He noted that through Tanaqol App, pilgrims can book carts vehicles, to avoid crowding and maintain social distancing.
