Prime Ministers of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan talk over the phone

On June 20, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov had a telephone conversation with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan Kubatbek Boronov.

Head of Uzbekistan Government congratulated his colleague on assuming the post of Prime Minister and expressed confidence that with his appointment, Uzbekistan – Kyrgyzstan relations will gain new dynamics, develop steadily and ensure further strengthening of bilateral cooperation.

During the conversation, the parties planned to hold a Joint Intergovernmental Commission’s meeting on bilateral cooperation in the near future.

The last meeting of the government delegations of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan led by the Prime Ministers of the two countries took place in August 2019 in Bishkek.

As is known, earlier the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan sent a congratulatory letter to K. Boronov in connection with his appointment as the Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan.
