Riyadh, (UNA-OIC) – Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al Al-Sheikh, Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, told the opening session of the 6th meeting of ministers in charge of Islamic affairs and endowments of the GCC member states, virtually held today under the chairmanship of the United Arab Emirates, that among priorities of the GCC endowments and Islamic affairs ministries is to disseminate the good Islamic principles including moderation, and call for tolerance, mercy, and co-existence.
Al Al-Sheikh also warned against the exploitation of youths by terrorist organizations and groups that manage to lure and push them towards violence, extremism, and terrorism, lauding the fruitful coordination among the ministries in charge of Islamic affairs on enhancing the principles and protection of the youngsters from deviation and anti-Islam intellectual trends.
