These days, when Uzbekistan celebrates the 100th anniversary of the famous writer of the country Said Ahmad, his literary heritage is being studied in Turkey.
Turkey’s literary community, along with the work of Said Ahmad, expresses interest in the creative heritage of his spouse, the beloved poetess of Uzbek people, Saida Zunnunova. Kardeş Kalemler magazine has published an article about the life and work of the poetess.
Short stories and great works of the poetess are noted in the article. It also reflects wisdom and courage of Uzbekistan people.
The Turkish magazine also published a translation of Saida Zunnunova’s story “Vafo” (“Loyalty”).
