Riyadh (UNA-OIC) – King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) sent today the first Saudi airlift to Tunisia to contribute to combating the spread of COVID-19.
This comes as an implementation of the directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. It also comes in response to the request of Tunisian President Kais Saied, during his call with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, deputy premier and defense minister.
This morning, two aircraft took off from King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh to Tunisia, carrying essential medical and preventive supplies and equipment. The initiative is an affirmation of deep-rooted strong relations that bind the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Tunisia.
