Saudi Permanent Representative to OIC meets Mozambican counterpart

Jeddah (UNA-OIC) – Permanent Representative of Saudi Arabia to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Dr. Saleh bin Hamad Al-Suhaibani met Monday with Ambassador of Mozambique to the Kingdom Faisal Fakir Kassam, who also serves as Mozambique’s Permanent Representative to the OIC.

During the meeting, they reviewed aspects of coordination between the two countries and exchanged views on issues of mutual interest, and ways to enhance cooperation in various areas of concern to the OIC.

The meeting also touched upon the efforts of OIC member states and their permanent representatives in facing challenges and strengthening their roles towards the issues of the Organization.

Al-Suhaibani emphasized the importance of such meetings held by the Saudi Mission to the OIC, with the aim of enhancing the Organization’s activities in serving member states and tackling relevant Islamic issues. He also affirmed the importance of opening the floodgates for consultation among the permanent representatives to mobilize efforts towards fruitful relations of cooperation between the OIC countries, in support of Islamic causes and joint Islamic action.
