Khartoum (UNA-OIC) – Sudan will host, from August 31 to September 2, a high-level workshop on natural resources in the Great Lakes Region of Africa.
The workshop is organized in cooperation with the Secretariat of the International Conference on the Great Lakes Region (ICGLR), the Office of the United Nations Special Envoy for the Great Lakes, and the German Development Agency.
A number of officials and experts from the member states of the Great Lakes Organization will participate in the workshop, in addition to international and regional partners represented by the European Union, the African Development Bank (AfDB), the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa (BADEA) and a number of other regional organizations.
