Jeddah (UNA-OIC) – The Republic of Togo signed the Statute of the Labor Center of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), at the headquarters of the OIC General Secretariat in Jeddah on Thursday.
The Statute was signed by the Acting Consul-General of the Republic of Togo, Abdel Alnazzar FOFANA, in the presence of OIC Secretary-General Dr. Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen, and Assistant Secretary-General for Economic Affairs Ambassador Ahmad Sengendo.
The Center, headquartered in the Republic of Azerbaijan, aims to strengthen and enable the social development efforts of the OIC Member State, and coordinate among the relevant organizations in the Member States, and other OIC institutes operating in fields related to labor, employment, social protection and human capital development.
