Tunisian and US Air Forces to hold joint military drill

Tunis (UNA-OIC) – A joint military drill between the Tunisian and U.S. Air Forces (U.S. Africa Command/AFRICOM) will take place from May 21 to 27.

“These exercises are an opportunity to share military expertise and develop operational military capabilities, especially in interception and air support missions,” the Ministry of Defense said in a statement carried by Agence Tunis Afrique Presse (TAP).

“These exercises fit into the cooperation program established with the US side several years ago, as part of military cooperation in the field of operational training with some friendly countries,” MoD added.
