Two Holy Mosques Presidency affirms keenness to extend bridges of cooperation with OIC

Jeddah (UNA-OIC) – The President of the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, Dr. Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz al-Sudais, has asserted the General Presidency’s keenness on cooperation with the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to enrich and sustain the services provided.

This would reflect the generous care and auspicious support that the wise leadership accords to the Two Holy Mosques, Sudais added in a letter to OIC Secretary General Dr. Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen.

He also valued the OIC General Secretariat’s media efforts to help various media institutions in the Member States follow up the Arafa sermon of the Hajj season 1441 AH.

“The OIC’s keenness and interest in delivering the sublime message of the Arafa sermon to the pilgrims and all Muslims around the world in their different languages are highly commendable,” Sudais noted.

For his part, Al-Othaimeen commended the services provided by the government of Saudi Arabia, the Chair of the current Islamic Summit, led by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, to the pilgrims and visitors of the Two Holy Mosques.

The OIC chief indicated that the project of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques – supervised by the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque – to translate the Arafa sermon is a great service that helps pilgrims and Muslims around the globe, and even non-Muslims, to understand the important message conveyed by this sermon every Hajj season.
