Tashkent (UNA-OIC) – Uzbek and Turkish authorities responsible for the development of e-commerce held a videoconference meeting to discuss bilateral cooperation in real-time trading platforms.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the Ministries of Investments and Foreign Trade; Development of Information and Communication Technologies; the State Customs Committee of Uzbekistan; and the Ministry of Trade of Turkey, Uzbekistan National News Agency (UzA) reported Monday.
The parties exchanged statistical data on cross-border e-commerce and experience in regulating this sphere. They also discussed prospects for bilateral cooperation in the development of real-time trading platforms.
Following the meeting, agreements were reached on joint development and adoption of a practical action plan for the development of cooperation in e-commerce, as well as studying the possibilities of integrating trading platforms of Uzbekistan and Turkey.
