Jeddah (UNA-OIC) – Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Dr. Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen met on Sunday with Tunisian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Hichem Fourati, who also serves as Tunisia’s permanent representative to the OIC.
During the meeting at the OIC headquarters in Jeddah, the permanent representative signed, on behalf of his country, the Statute of the Islamic Organization for Food Security (IOFS), a specialized body of the OIC based in Kazakhstan’s capital Nur-Sultan.
Also during the meeting, the two sides discussed issues of common interest and ways to develop relations between the OIC and the Republic of Tunisia.
